Dedicated to the goddess Rajeshwari, the main deity of the temple, the Mullakkal Rajeshwari Temple is unique in its beautiful architecture in traditional Kerala style. Goddess Rajeswari is popularly known as 'Mullakkal Devi' or 'Mullakkal Amma'. Deities like Lord Krishna, Lord Naga, Lord Ayyappa and Lord Hanuman are also worshipped at this temple. Mullakkal Rajeshwari Temple is built 500 years ago and the main roof that kept opened is the major attraction of this shrine. The beautiful pond inside the temple premises along with trees and jasmine adorns the temple. The biggest festival celebrated at this temple is Mullakkal Chirappu. The Mullakkal Rajeshwari Temple also celebrates Navaratri Festival and Thaipooya Kavadi with great grandeur.
