Day 1: Trivandrum Arrival - Kovalam (20Kms/30mins drive)
On arrival at Trivandrum Airport/Railway Station our Kerala temple tour executive welcomes you and assists you, further transfer to Kovalam. On arrival check into the resort, later go for sightseeing tour of Trivandrum city visiting the Kerala Temples like Padmanabhaswamy temple, Zoological Park, Napier Museum, Sri Chithira Art Gallery, Aruvikkara Dam and Neyyar Dam. Evening relax in the beach. Overnight stay at the resort in Kovalam
Day 2: Kovalam - Kanyakumari - Kovalam (100Kms one way)
Post breakfast drive to Kanyakumari, the southern most point of India. Kanyakumari is famous for its spectacular sunset and moonrise views, and the fascinating Kerala temples and monuments. Arrive at Kanyakumari and visit the famous Kumari Amman Temple, Vivekananda and Gandhi Memorial, and the beautiful statue of Tiruvalluvar. In the evening enjoy a breathtaking view of sunset over the Indian Ocean at Kanyakumari and after sunset back to Kovalam. Overnight stay at the resort in Kovalam.
Day 3: Kovalam - Alleppey (170kms/4hrs) - Kumarakom (by motor boat)
Post breakfast drive to Alleppey- an immense place of beauty. Enroute visit Mannaarsaala temple & Subramanya temple near Haripad (dedicated to Naga Devatas) and Ochira Temple. On arrival at Alleppey take 2hrs motor boat cruise to Kumarakom to experience the backwaters of Kerala. After the cruise check into the resort and relax, evening visit the famous Bird Sanctuary in Kumarakom. Overnight stay at the resort in Kumarakom
Day 4: Kumarakom - Cochin (90kms/2hrs)
Post breakfast check out from the resort and you can do sightseeing tour visiting the Vaikom Mahadeva Temple near Kottayam and the Ettumanoor Shiva temples in Kerala. Later drive to Cochin, evening watch Kathakali Dance show, an art form of Kerala. Overnight stay at the hotel in Cochin
Day 5: Cochin - Guruvayoor (100kms/2.5hrs)
Early morning visit the famous Chottanikara Devi temple and Poornatrayesa temple at Tripunithura. Then drive to Guruvayoor to visit the famous Sri Krishna temple - one of the most sacred and important pilgrim centers of Kerala, later visit Annakottil - the elephant training centre. Day 6: Guruvayoor - Cochin Departure (70/2hrs)
Post breakfast drive to Cochin Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey back home. If time permits you can do sightseeing Kerala Temples tour of Cochin visiting the Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace, St. Francis Church, and the Chinese fishing nets
Day 1: Cochin Arrival
Arrive at Cochin where you will be received by our Kerala ayurveda tours representative and transfer to the heritage hotel located in the ancient town of Fort Cochin. Day 2: Cochin
Post breakfast start the guided tour visiting Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace, St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica and the Chinese Fishing Nets. Later day free for shopping and in the evening watch a theatrical performance of the major art and dance form of Kerala including Kalaripayattu and Kathakali. Day 3: Cochin - Munnar (140kms/4hrs)
After breakfast drive to Munnar which is the most beautiful hill station of Kerala full of tea plantations and misty clouds. During Kerala ayurveda tours drive through the narrow hair pin roads you can see beautiful valleys, tea plantations and small waterfalls enroute. On arrival, relax in the resort and later explore the hill station on your own. You have the option for trekking nearby. Overnight stay at Munnar
Day 4: Munnar
Post breakfast start the sightseeing tour visiting Eravikulam National Park and Rajamala Peak which is home to endangered species of Nilgiri Thar (mountain goats), Mattupetty Dam where speed boating can be done, Tea Factory (subject to permission granted), Top Station, Echo Point, etc. Later free time to visit the tea plantations. Day 5: Munnar - Periyar (130kms/4hrs)
After breakfast drive to Periyar also known as Thekkady which is famous for its wildlife and spice garden. The drive to Periyar is also very scenic crossing the tea gardens, dense woods and the spice plantations. Enroute stop at Abraham Spice Garden and do an extensive tour of the variety of spices grown in this organic farm using traditional methods. This garden has been recommended in Lonely Planet and BBC edition of Monty Don's Around the World in 80 Gardens. On arrival check into the resort and relax, later explore the spice market. Day 6: Periyar
Early morning enjoy 02hrs boat ride in Periyar lake to watch the panoramic view of the surroundings and if lucky you can site the wild animals of the park as they come close to the lake to drink water and graze. After a late breakfast enjoy 02hrs elephant package which includes 01hr ride and then the process of bathing the elephant in the river, feeding it, timber dragging, command and communication, etc, and later day free for own activities. Day 7: Periyar - Alleppey (160kms/5hrs)
Post breakfast drive to Alleppey and board your private houseboat at 12noon to cruise in the narrow backwater canals. During the journey you can visit ancient Kerala temples, churches, paddy fields and can watch the day to day activities of the local people who live nearby. You will be served with delicious Kerala food on board. Overnight stay at Houseboat during Kerala Temple Tour.
Day 8: Alleppey - Kovalam (170kms/4hrs)
After breakfast disembark the houseboat by 9.30am and transfer to Kovalam which has the finest beaches in Kerala. On reaching Kovalam, check into the beach resort and relax in the beach. Our driver will drop you here and return. Overnight stay at Kovalam
Day 9 to 15: Kovalam
These days undergo the 07nights ayurvedic rejuvenation package at the resort and in the leisure time relax in the beach. Overnight stay at Kovalam (no transport)
Day 16: Kovalam - Trivandrum Departure (20kms/20mins)
On this day as per the departure schedule, you will be picked from the resort and transfer to Trivandrum airport to board your flight back home
