Day 1: Arrive Cochin
On arrival at Cochin Airport/Railway Station (ensure a morning arrival), our exotic Kerala tour Executive welcomes you and assists you, further transfer to the hotel and relax. Later proceed for a sightseeing tour of Cochin covering - The Dutch Palace at Mattancherry is renowned for its wall murals depicting scenes from the Ramayana. Jewish Synagogue at the heart of what is locally called the Jew Town. St. Francis Church, the oldest European church in India. Santa Cruz Basilica originally built in 1557 by the Portuguese. The Chinese fishing nets are huge cantilevered fishing nets believed to have brought to Kochi by Chinese traders. Day 2: Cochin - Munnar (145Kms/4.5hrs drive)
On next day of Kerala trip, Post breakfast drive to Munnar - a famous hill station with a pretty cool climate which is a nature lover's paradise. Enroute visit Valera and Cheeyappara Falls. You will find unending expanse of the tea plantations and the breathtaking views along the way. This day you can just walk around the scenic areas. Overnight stay at the resort in Munnar.
Day 3: Munnar
Breakfast from the resort and proceed for a full day sightseeing tour in Munnar of Kerala trip. The sightseeing includes - the Eravikulam National Park- the home of endangered Nilgiri Thar (mountain goat), Rajamala - the highest peak in Munnar, Devikulam - a small hill station with exotic flora and fauna, Tea Factory, Mattupetty Dam, Eco - point, Photo point, Indo Swiss project and Top Station which offers a spectacular view of the plains of Tamilnadu. Day 4: Munnar - Periyar (130Kms/4hrs drive)
Post breakfast drive to Periyar - a land full of cardamom and spice plantation and home to one of the largest wildlife reserves in India. The Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary is situated on the banks of Periyar Lake. On arrival, check into the resort and relax. Later go for a boat ride and spice plantation tour. Day 5: Periyar - Alleppey (160Kms/4.5hrs drive)
Have breakfast and drive to Alleppey to embark your traditional houseboat at 12:30PM. The houseboats are with all modern comforts and are known as "Kettuvallam", the houseboat crew will prepare delicious food for you on board. You can watch the day to day life of the local people. Day 6: Alleppey - Cochin (70Kms/2hrs drive)
Post breakfast disembark the houseboat at Alleppey jetty by 9:30AM, and later as per your departure schedule you will be transferred to Cochin Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey back home
